All of the ponies, miniature horses, and goats have been carefully selected for their gentle temperament, calm demeanor, and ability to adapt comfortably to new environments. Each animal has undergone extensive handling and training with our volunteer “Patrollers” to ensure safe, positive, and responsible interactions with the public.

All visits are non-riding. The Patrol’s mission is to educate the community about the unique needs of these animals, which are often rehomed as riders outgrow them or when age-related soundness and care requirements increase. All ponies in the Patrol have been rescued from neglectful situations through our partners at Success With Horses.
